Such a great and uplifting piece, thank you Chloe. This reminds me of a book that explores topics along these lines I've read last year, "Rest Is Resistance: Free yourself from grind culture and reclaim your life" by Tricia Hersey.

What a treat, Chloe and Layla. And so needed at this time of year too. I've only recently started a yoga nidra practice where I set a meditation soundtrack for 30 mins and lie in bed propped up with bolsters and pillows under my heated blanket with my noise-cancelling headphones on and an eye mask. It feels a bit lit sensory deprivation, or at least dialling-down any chance of stimulation from the outside world.

A proper retreat. Sometimes I sleep, but often I couldn't tell you if I did or not. I've felt held and been able to just be with myself in a totally different way, even, from how I felt "going for a nap" before (which never worked out or if it did, left me groggy).

I use Endel for my soundscape as it gently rouses you with a different kind of tone from the one you set as the sound for however long you're using it. Have either of you come across it? I also use it for working to!
