Hello friends,
Welcome to the first of my summer archive posts. I’ll be sharing like this for the month of August, back all bright-eyed and bushy tailed on Friday September 5. I will be checking in on comments and DM’s, but less so, so bear with me if I’m slow to reply.
Also, paid subscribers - a note for your diary that our Sitting in the Dark sessions will return for an 8 week spiral on September 19 and we will be back with another MULCH meeting in September, too.
Ok, let’s dive in to the first of my archive posts!

It felt appropriate while I’m recharging my batteries to share with you my series on REST. I am guessing many of you are chasing your tail this summer too and could do with some gentle tips and nudges as to how we can rest our wired, weary selves!
I first shared this series back in January, featuring some really wonderful guest writers and it explore from lots of different angles how we rest, why it is so difficult to rest, as well as some gorgeous prompts around ways into rest.
wrote this wonderful piece on What Rest Is and How I Learnt to Do It. Her point about us deserving rest no matter what we have achieved is strikingly radical in this goal orientated world! What rest actually is, and how I learnt to do it
Welcome our January series of guest posts on REST in all its many forms.
I then had this fab chat with
about the role Human Design has played in both our lives and how working with our own unique design can lead to far more easeful, restful ways of being :A map to our true selves
"Layla’s writing is raw, vulnerable, and inviting. It feels familiar to roam in the landscape her words conjure up and the more I read, the more at home I feel with myself."
To finish the wonderful
wrote for us (and also shared a recorded audio) on Ebb and Creativity and the importance and value of giving in to those fallow, ebbing periods for our creative process.Enjoy all these wise words from these wonderful women amigas!
