Hi friends - for those of you new here - a brief introduction - I’m Layla – I’m an Irish writer & tender to many things living at the foothills of the Wicklow mountains in south eastern Ireland.
I’m interested in exploring how it feels to write, hold and (m)other on this beautiful, tattered planet right now.
I think of the beauty & bone community as a small yet mighty gathering of like-minded souls, determinedly fumbling towards a brighter future. You’d be so welcome to join us.
For paid subscribers I share through weekly written posts (the heart of it all), live seasonal calls (where we get to explore, connect & support) and my slow podcast (for deeper dives in your own time).
I’m popping this email to you today out of the regular routine by way of offering a round-up of all that’s been happening as part of my new offering The Element Sessions (for more about these sessions, head here).
Next Friday we are back to regular service (including some very exciting upcoming collaborations!) for a few weeks before we dive into the METAL element together.
So, here we go. Take a gander, see what draws you in.
PODCAST
𖥸 On the podcast (available to all subscribers) I had an incredible chat with
about the Daoist roots of the Five Elements ::𖥸 and a sumptuous chat with all round fabulous human
on what EARTH means to her ::DEEP DIVE :: EARTH
𖥸 We also had the chance to dive deep into the EARTH element in both a post complete with audio and journalling prompts ::
𖥸 and a live call in which explored the EARTH through a series of journalling prompts and community shares.
These deep dives and lives were for paid subs, but are still available for you to access if you’d like to upgrade to paid.
NOTES FROM THE GARDEN
𖥸 The wonderful
joined for a divine guest post about what was catching her attention in her September Garden.𖥸 And finally, I’ve opened a thread for us to keep chatting about each of the elements, at the moment we are exploring what it is we SAVOUR. There’s been a lovely flurry of shares, so do hop on over!
To join the conversation, you’ll need to open or set up the Substack app (which is really the most enjoyable way to read if you can handle another app in your life!)
I’ve had so much fun putting together these sessions for you, would love to hear what you think, what you enjoyed, what you’d like more of, so do pop me a message or comment below and let me know.
