Would love to hear your thoughts after listening Marguerite, it’s certainly been a big catalyst for many areas of my life. Do feel free to ask any questions you might have. X
Thank you both for accompanying me on my walk in the woods this morning! I loved your conversation and it has certainly inspired me to revisit my HD chart as I feel at a threshold in my life and feel drawn to aligning myself with my design more intentionally. I did some deep diving into my chart back when I discovered it in 2016 ish but life has changed somewhat since then! There were so many things you both said that sparked realisations for me, like about the nature of my work since becoming a mother as a Projector. I have definitely criticised myself in recent years for finding it impossible to return to the work I was doing before but I now realise that perhaps the problem is with the work/societal expectations/set up rather than me. I also resonated deeply with your words about writing a book Layla. I am embarking on a book project for the first time and am so excited by the prospect of alone-time, research and the whole process. I loved hearing both of your insights, it was such a nourishing and inspiring conversation, thank you! Xx
Thank you both for this, fascinating conversation! Human design is completely new to me (apart from what you told me about it, Layla) and I will definitely find out more! The only thing I've tried that would come close to this is a personality test on 16personalities.com - finding out I'm an Advocate (INFJ-A), and basically that there's nothing wrong with me, was a huge relief.
So fascinating, I love how human design brings so many threads together, and also like that it’s anchored in a birth chart, in time-space coordinates. I resonated with both of your personality descriptions, and am now very curious about my own!
It does make me wonder about this human tendency of ours to not only want to understand ourselves, but to seek out exterior validation that we’re “ok” as we are. As you say, often what human design and so many modalities reveal is stuff we already know… and yet we need that stamp of approval.
At least that’s what I’ve been working on these past years: understanding and accepting “this is me,” this is what works best for me to feel safe, at ease, nourished, inspired etc.
Lauren, I like that you describe your role as encouragement to be who we are.
Gosh… sometimes it feels like I’ve spent 52 years figuring myself out!
Will definitely investigate HD further, thanks to you both!
SUPER excited to listen to this, will return here with many thoughts I'm sure xx
Can’t wait to hear how you receive it xxx
Looking forward to this, Layla! I’ve long been curious about human design.
