Following on from last weeks post on the Season of Fire and Summer in Chinese Medicine, I would like to share some summer writing prompts with you.
The prompts will take about 45 minutes in total, or you could choose to spend ten minutes a day over five days or so, whatever suits you and your life the best.
Find somewhere cosy to sit. In the sunshine, with a candle lit, wrapped up in bed. You’ll know best, but somewhere you can look out into the outside world is good - street scape, or field, no matter.
Have pen and paper at the ready. Close your eyes for a moment. Take three long deep breaths.
Feel your feet planted on the earth.
Feel your back resting supported against the chair.
Ask what can you do to make yourself more comfortable, more at ease.
Do that.
And then let’s begin.
