"Your writing makes me find my inner wilderness again. "
- a note from a new paid subscriber, which lifted my day no end :-)

Today, through a series of physical embodiment practices and journalling prompts we are going to explore the FIRE element, which is most closely associated with the season of Summer.

Already in this FIRE spiral I have shared a Deep Dive post, with lots of food for thought around how this element manifests in our lives, and a fascinating podcast conversation with

The Harmony Principle
’s Claire Dabreo.

Here are the links to catch up on both:

I would invite you to try to set aside about an hour for this journalling session.

You will ideally need:
𓇸 A pen and something to write on
𓇸 A space you are comfortable both closing your eyes in and having a wee dance in !
𓇸 Anything else that help you feel at ease - a candle, a blanket, a cup of tea

You can also watch the video / listen to the audio of live call for the session and work through the prompts that way too if it is an easier thing. The video link is at the beginning of the prompts.

Do go gently with yourself. If any of the prompts feel too much, they can wait for another day. Or they can be done, but gently, and with a reaching out to someone you trust for support.

The prompts for this spiral will each include an embodied practice that we will do before beginning to write. I am more and more drawn to exploring how we can involve our whole selves in the writing process, and this is an attempt to explore this a little with you all. If any or all of the physical positions aren’t available to you, I would invite you to take the same amount of time to visualise your body moving into these shapes. The mind is a powerful thing.

Ok, let’s begin.
